You, a special friend and a bag of clay...

Clay Encounters are for adults.

ClayEncounters are an evening event for you and a friend lasting anywhere from 2 to 3 hours. It includes a pottery lesson for each person, independent time on the wheel to make your own pots plus glazing and firing of at least two pots per person.

From September through May, ClayEncounters are arranged on Friday evenings and Saturdays and Sundays with flexible scheduling. From June to August dates and times are very flexible.

Cost: The ClayEncounter fee is $75 per person. This includes a private lesson at your level, one 25lb bag of clay for two people, studio time up to 3 hours and firing and glazing of your pieces.

Boulanger Pottery does not sell or serve food or alcohol. You may, however, bring a bottle of wine to your ClayEncounter.
